Gifts of Life Insurance

planned-giving_3You may name Word & Deed as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. When you pass away, the proceeds of the policy are donated to Word & Deed which then issues a charitable receipt for the funds received to your estate. Donors often consider this form of gift if they are likely to accrue a large tax liability upon death, to offset the taxes payable.

You may also consider this type of gift if your circumstances change, such that existing life insurance policies that once provided important protection are no longer needed. If one or more of your policies no longer fits your personal financial needs you may want to consider donating the policy to charity.

Please speak to your life insurance provider in order to discuss how you may gift your life insurance policy to Word & Deed.

Benefits of gifting Life Insurance to Word & Deed:

1. Word & Deed receives a significant gift to continue its work in God's kingdom.
2. You may be able to offset taxes payable at the time of your passing

Word & Deed invites you to prayerfully consider gifting your RRSPs or RRIFs for our ministry. We invite you to discuss making such a charitable gift with your legal advisors and / or accountants.
