All ages are welcome! This event caters to families and individual anglers, and is designed to be a relaxed afternoon fishing in MB’s world-famous Red River! If you are unsure of fishing practices in the Red River, check out our Instagram and Facebook pages for updates. There will be tips and advice from anglers of all ages leading up to the event! All participants must have a valid fishing license.
Entry fees are $50 for adults, $25 for children under 12, and a family rate of $150 (valid for all members of an immediate family). The entry fee includes admission to the event a fish n’ chip dinner, and access to the prizes! (If you only want to come for dinner, it’s $25 per adult and $15 per child under 16).
The event starts at Noon on October 11, 2025. Meet in Selkirk Park, by the pavilion at the boat launch. All boats entered into the event will be subject to inspection by MB Conservation, so be sure to arrive early.
If you don’t have access to a boat, no problem! A best effort will be made to place participants on boats with additional room on the day of the event.
