Campout Freezeout 2022!
Word & Deed would like to thank the 180 campers and the 20 chaperones for their fundraising efforts this past weekend at the Campout-Freezeout 2022
The event was held from 6pm on Friday night to Saturday at 10 am on the last weekend of February.
In total, $59,005 was raised for Camp Canaan, a camp that supports over 2,000 campers each year from ages 12-18, run by our partner AMG Guatemala.
We are so grateful to the Lord for keeping everyone safe, for the funds that were raised, and for the spiritually encouraging night in the cold. Thank you, Daniel Gilman, for giving a speech calling us to have a living and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We thank the parents and youth group of Zion Free Reformed Church for organizing, preparing, cooking food, and ensuring that everything went smoothly. Thank you to everyone who donated and prayed for this cause.
