Communities in Action in Indonesia

Our partner in Indonesia has been blessed with communities that have a hunger for Christ-centered education. Our Lord is at work in some of the more remote areas of the 17,500 islands of Indonesia, touching the hearts and minds of many students, families and communities. Communities where a high-school education was formerly out of reach, both geographically and financially, are now banding together to provide for their youth.

Together, they have manually excavated land, created road access for delivery of supplies, dug footings, moved existing structures to organize property (see video clip), and most importantly have provided teachers and infrastructure to educate their children. They are building efficient, durable school buildings to accommodate the education needs in three such communities. This is a beautiful display of the strong commitment blossoming among the people of Indonesia to train and develop Christian leaders for their communities and future generations.

Please pray that young men and women may be equipped with the truth of the Gospel, refined with leadership abilities, strengthened in their faith of a loving Father and remain committed to serving their communities.
