Inauguration of New School Building in Papua, Indonesia

Word & Deed partner, YKW Foundation, located in Papua, Indonesia, celebrated the inauguration of a new school building today! Here is a note of thanks that we received from them:

First of all, we would like to praise and thank God for His blessings.

Second, on behalf of the YKW Foundation, we express our deep appreciation to the donors who provided financial assistance to build these three classrooms. The new building was built as a result of our struggle for needed space after the PGSD study program was allowed to operate. Teh number of students increased every year, so there were demands for new classrooms. We are glad that the classroom has been built. On Friday, March 17, 2023, we inaugurated this new classroom building to be used as needed. Starting Monday, March 20, 2023, the new classroom building has been used for the PGSD study program and is used for worship with all lecturers, staff, and all students. Below are some photos of the building. Once again, we appreciate our donors for the financial support that has been donated for the construction of this new building.

March 20, 2023 – First day of using the new classroom for devotion with all staff and students. This classroom will be used for devotion every Monday morning and Friday afternoon with all staff and all students. We do this to praise God before beginning our week and closing our week.
