India’s COVID-19 Crisis Response

During the past eight weeks, Word & Deed has sent over $350,000 CAD / $285,000 USD in COVID-related funds to India. These funds were and are being used to purchase equipment at two Christian hospitals (monitors, bi-pap machines, etc.), medicines, as well as salaries for doctors and nurses. A significant portion of the funds are being used to help thousands of families purchase food (many have lost their jobs) and to pay for medical costs. Rick Postma details more in this video.
