Since 2007, our partner, Palabra y Hecho, has been equipping the local Miskitu people with training in agriculture, business practices, and a Christian worldview. Through agricultural training in cocoa and coffee farming, 120 families are empowered to think long-term, grow profitable crops, and integrate Christian principles into their work. Each year, 40 families receive basic business education, enabling them to manage small businesses effectively and create sustainable opportunities for their families. Theological training, using simplified MINTS courses, reaches 35 leaders from 8 remote river villages, equipping them to share a Christian worldview on family, work, and worship within their communities. Our prayer is that God will use this training to restore relationships with Him, within families, and across communities.
